Two ways to order

Option 1 · fastest

Option 2 · NHS App

Open the NHS App → "Your health" → "Nominate a pharmacy" → search "Hawthorn". Your GP will send repeats straight to us from then on.

Order your repeat
Order through our app, NHS App, or your GP surgery's online portal.
Step 3
We dispense
Scripts received before 2pm are dispensed the same day in the shop.
Step 4
Collect or deliver
Pop in when convenient, or free delivery across BS6, BS7 and BS8.

Is delivery really free?: Yes - free local delivery within roughly two miles of Church Lane, usually the same working day if your script arrives before 2pm.
Can I order someone else's prescription?: Yes - a carer or family member can order on your behalf as long as they're listed as a proxy in the NHS App or have written permission.
Do I need an appointment to collect?: No. Prescriptions are never booked as appointments - just pop in during opening hours, or switch to home delivery any time.
Can I get advice on my medicines?: Absolutely. For a longer chat, book a free NHS medication review and we'll go through everything together.
